Banned books week

Yet another update from our very own intern, Naomi Fishmeier, Scene Queen

Dear Oh Dear,

Yes I know, I know. It’s been an embarrassing long while since the last update, but I assure you it’s not because Mark has come to a screeching halt at the keyboard—although sometimes it certainly does seem that way. The truth is, Mark’s been busy writing his new novel, tentatively titled THE WILD ORANGE YONDER. He’s been working so hard, in fact, that the nubs of his fingers are wearing down and his eyes are starting to droop from staring at his screen so hard. But that’s art for you. He suffers for your reading pleasure.

Speaking of reading pleasure, September 27 through October 4 is Banned Books Week. To help you celebrate, the icon below is a link to your very own First Amendment First Aid Kit:

May your speech be free and your books be neither bland nor banned.

Yours In Literary Assistanthood,
