A plodding haiku…

Dearest Readers Sublime,
Happy New Year! Many fervent wishes for a great and glorious 2009!
Our plodding producer of prose is still very much at work on his new novel, tentatively titled THE WILD ORANGE YONDER. Here is a haiku he wrote as a way of sharing with you his current state of mind as he writes:
nightsweats, clammy palms,
a dark cloud deadline looming…
think! think! think! think! think!
